The Plant: Tūpākihi

Tūpākihi is native to New Zealand and has long been acknowledged in Māori tradition, with its use passed down through generations.

Traditionally applied through gentle application to skin at the relevant area, tūpākihi was used to support comfort and ease physical discomfort impacting mobility.

How to use:

Apply a small amount to the desired area and massage gently using slow, steady movements for a minimum of 30 seconds. Your body responds better and faster if the localised area of pain is warm (either straight after a shower or gently rub into area for a minimum of 30 seconds. Use as part of your daily or as-needed self-care routine. One final note - avoid applying by the clock. Listen to you body, for it will tell you when its time to re-apply. That said, if you know from experience that your pain will return during the night, by all means re-apply prior to bed.

External use only. Keep out of reach of children. Shake bottle well. Apply oil directly to target area/s and gently rub into skin. Do not apply to broken skin or open wounds. Wash hands with soapy water after applying -  IF, the pain is in your hands, delay washing for 30 minutes and avoid touching your face (especially around eyes).
