THE COMPANY
Natures Therapeutics Limited™ is Māori-owned New Zealand manufacture of skincare, wellbeing and personal care products, based in Whangārei, Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our products are inspired by traditional Māori plant knowledge, with approximately 95% of our range containing at least one plant traditionally bused by Māori. We proudly supply New Zealand and Australia.
OUR PRODUCTS
Our products cover three ranges:
General Wellbeing Botanical mirimiri oils, balms and other products inspired by traditional Māori plant knowledge, supporting everyday comfort, relaxation and wellbeing.
Skincare Botanical products for cleansing, moisturising, nourishing and caring for the skin.
Haircare Botanical products for cleansing, conditioning and caring for the hair and scalp.
THE WHY ELEMENT
Aotearoa New Zealand is home to unique native plants found nowhere else in the world. For generations, Māori have drawn upon these plants as part of rongoā Māori, a traditional Māori approach to health and wellbeing.
Inspired by the knowledge, Natures Therapeutics brings together native botanicals, traditional Māori plant knowledge and modern craftsmanship to create skincare, haircare and wellbeing products.
THE CULTURAL ELEMENT
Before commencing operations, we sought guidance from our kaumātua to ensure that our activities respected and upheld tikanga and kawa Māori.
Our founder descends from Te Parawhau, a hapū with whakapapa connections to both Ngāti Whātua and Ngāpuhi. Natures Therapeutics is also located within the traditional boundaries of Te Parawhau.
It was important that our kaumātua understood what we intended to achieve and why. Through these discussions, we established a shared understanding of our commitment to respecting and upholding tikanga and kawa, and received their support.
On Saturday, 11 July 2020, our facility was formally blessed by Te Parawhau kaumātua, Pereri Tito, marking an important milestone in the establishment of Natures Therapeutics.

Manaakitanga carries many meanings, but at its heart is the principle of care — care for people, care for one another, and care for the world around us.
